The Fagge originates from the Gepatschferner southeast of the Weißseespitze, flows through the Kaunertal in a northern, then western direction, and discharges into the Inn at Prutz at an altitude of 859 m. It has a length of approximately 31 km. In the upper reaches, the Gepatsch reservoir was created, which is fed by the Faggenbach and its tributaries, as well as by transfers from mountain streams from neighboring valleys. The water is directed into the power house in Prutz via a 13.2 km long pressurized water pipeline.
