This is one of our favourite rides in the Kinglake area ? lots of contrasts with a good section of singletrack. The route has a couple of tough climbs followed by fast, non-technical descents. After 1km of bitumen to warm up, this trip gets serious with a 3km climb to the top of Andrew Hill on a well-maintained fire trail with about 2km of singletrack before the fire trail resumes for the rest of the ride.
