It is believed that the name Kin Kin came from the aboriginal words kauin kauin meaning red soil and there is plenty of that in this ride. As part of the Noosa Trail Network, the Kin Kin Countryside Loop takes you through this lush green region passing alongside and through dairy farms, banana plantations and over numerous short climbs all with lovely vistas making the effort worthwhile.
