Riding alongside an expressway might not sound like fun to many, but this route is definitely an exception. A smooth sealed path, the Southern Veloway offers a great traffic-free ride with views of the coastline and plains. While it runs alongside the Southern Expressway, the path is generally positioned above the roadway away from noise and exhaust fumes, and has good landscaping and barriers. And with Noarlunga Station conveniently at the end, you can enjoy the ride and then relax back on the return train journey.
