The Bellarine Peninsula is a popular riding area for cyclists and this section follows much of the scenic coastline as well as farmland. The view from Murradoc Hill across Corio Bay is a reward for the climb between St Leonards and Drysdale. The cafes along the way also offer plenty of refreshment with pleasant views across Port Phillip Bay. The ride commences in the centre of Drysdale. Drysdale is also the starting point of the enjoyable Bellarine Steam Railway that runs to Queenscliff.
