Opened in May 2008 and designed by Glen Jacobs (who also designed the Glenorchy Mountain Bike Park and the Sydney Olympic course), the North South Track is a world-class cross-country mountain bike route across the eastern slopes of Mt Wellington. Plans are to eventually extend it to The Springs and the Glenorchy Mountain Bike Park.
