Looking at Rottnest Island from the mainland it is often barely distinguishable above the swell and has the appearance of being no higher than a protruding reef, but once you start cycling around the place you realise that while not quite the Alps or Pyranees it?s reasonably hilly albeit only rising up to around 32 metres above sea level. This ride takes in some of the hilly bumps going through the middle of Rottnest Island.
