Here are two facts I never knew before commencing this ride. Mindarie Keys, the suburb where the ride finishes could actually been called ?Little Britain? as it has one of the highest densities of Brits out of any area in Australia. Apparently every third person here is British. The other fact is that despite its stunning location, views and beaches it lay as a derelict old quarry and lime kilns for nearly thirty years. What makes that fact amazing is that the area is only around 36 kilometres from the city.
