This is a short and relatively easy ride from Diamond Creek to Eltham North taking in the gentle path along Diamond Creek and looping along the disused Maroondah aqueduct. The 800 metre long climb up to the aqueduct along Allendale Road is steep though, and may require walking for families with young riders. However once you get up to the top of the hill, the path is gentle and offers some fantastic views.
