Majura Pines is one of the premier mountain biking venues in Canberra and has hosted both national downhill and endurance events. The eastern slopes of Mt Majura have been set aside especially for mountain biking, providing cyclists with a large number of great trails through a mix of pine plantation and native gum trees. It is a great place to ride all year round, with the trees providing a reprieve from the heat in summer, and protection from moderate levels of wind and rain at other times.
