The scenery along many of the rides through Southern Canberra is stunning, and the ride along Paddy?s River Road is no exception. After completing the steep climb out of Cotter Reserve the undulating terrain will take you past Piece?s Creek Forest on one side, and the Murrumbidgee River corridor on the other. Namagdi National Park flanks the forest area, with rolling hilltops and the Brindabella Ranges dominating the landscape.
