For the TV program With the Wind 2, I rode from Sarajevo to Pristina. Sarajevo immediately impressed with its mix of religions: Orthodox, Christians, and Muslims. The separation between the Western and Eastern world is tangible here. I also recommend cycling up to the top of the bobsled track: a tough climb, but the view over the city was breathtaking. Normally, the wind pushed me towards Mostar in the southwest, but in Konjic, I met a Belgian who told me about Lukomir, the highest village in Bosnia. I had to go there! Once up, you can spend the night, after which a gravel descent takes you to Foca. Then you enter a completely different world - from Bosnia and Herzegovina through no man's land to a region that belongs to the Serbian Republic. The roads south were limited, but because of that, I came across pristine landscapes that left me in awe.
