At the end of the Werregarenstraatje on the right stands the Hof van Ryhove. In the Hof, remnants of a 13th-century stone were discovered. The first owner of that stone could not be traced. The first name that can be linked to the stone is that of knight Simon de Rijke, who sold the stone in 1386. Thus, this stone got the name Simon's Rijkensteen. In 1432 - when the Lamb of God was presented - it was the property of a certain Boudin Rijm, a scion of an influential family with a fascinating family history. His ancestors had a stone right next to the sRijkensteen, but that was levelled to the ground, a severe medieval punishment for a certain crime, in this case, a double murder. Thus, the Hof van Ryhove has its relatively large garden.
