The Dreupelkot is a pub where you can get only gin. The manager, Pol, has more than 170 Belgian gins or jenevers.
The pub has a very special link with the Swedish staying in the city for a short or long period. They frequently stay here because of their activities with the Volvo-factory in the harbour-area of Ghent.
Famous for their capability of drinking alcohol, the Swedish thought that non of the types of gin were strong enough. Therefore, Pol created a new gin with red Chili peppers. Although the thing is hard to drink, the Swedish loved it and they announced that this bar should become the Swedish embassy.
