Campsites also mark the huge loops of the river, the road climbs steadily and you will soon see beautiful views. If you want to take a small walk, you can walk from Nadrin over the rock ridge of Hérou. You will then get a mile-long view of six bends of the Ourthe and of slate rocks that literally rise from the river shimmering in the depths. If you want it a little rougher, that is no problem because Nadrin, like many other places in the Ardennes, has its own outdoor center. If desired, you can even climb up against the walls. Just before Houffalize, the road slowly descends into the valley where the houses built in bluestone and with slate roofs stand out.
