The Doode Bemde is a nature reserve in the Dijle valley, south of Leuven. It extends on both sides of the river Dijle, on the territory of the municipalities of Oud-Heverlee, Sint-Joris-Weert, Neerijse and Korbeek-Dijle. It is by far the most important and valuable nature reserve in this part of the Dyle Valley. The area is European protected as part of Natura 2000 area 'Valleys of the Dyle, Laan and IJse with adjacent forest and marsh areas'.
