The Waasland Canal is a transit canal and also a dock in the port of Antwerp. It is centrally located in the Waasland Port, the part of the Antwerp port that lies within the territory of the province of East Flanders. The long canal runs in a north-west to south-east direction. It is the first canal dock on the left bank and was dug between 1980 and 1989. The Waasland Canal is approximately 4000 meters long, 350 meters wide, and 14.50 meters deep, from the Kallos Lock in the east to the westernmost harbor area of the Doeldok and Verrebroekdok.
