The Strasbourg dock is located in northern Antwerp and connects the Albert Canal with the Port of Antwerp. The dock has a polygonal structure with four straight sides. It serves as a shelter dock for inland vessels and pushboat traffic. A few pleasure boats are also moored at the sloping quay near the Noorderbrug, which spans the Albert Canal and connects to Noorderlaan. Additionally, there is a connection with a wide bridge over the dock that links Groenendaellaan to the opposite side of the harbor and the monumental listed Pump House. Right next to this bridge, at the end of Groenendaellaan, is the tire maintenance center Banden-Robert, with the old wooden drying sheds for wood located behind it.
