Heterogeneous building, reminiscent of the Hainaut Gothic, on the following plan: a west tower with north staircase tower, set between the ends of the aisles, a three-aisled nave of three bays, transepts, a choir with three-sided closure and flanking sacristies. Mainly whitewashed brick construction with the use of bluestone for the plinth and sandstone for the surrounds; Local rubble stone in small and irregular pattern was preserved in the substructure of the tower and was reused in the south transept.
