The Notre-Dame des Dunes church, also known as the Cathedral of Light, is a Catholic church in the Flemish village of Coxyde-Bains in the municipality of Coxyde. This parish church dates from 1956-1962 and was designed by the architect Jozef Lantsoght.
The floor plan is inspired by the shell, a seashell that may have given its name to Coxyde. In the original plan, a distinct tower was also planned, but due to its proximity to the military airport, it was omitted. The steel roof is shaped like two waves breaking into each other, on which there is a cross sphere, a work by Antoon Viaene. The copper sphere has a diameter of 1.20 meters and is topped with a cross that is 5.50 meters high and 1.20 meters wide. The color of the walls evokes that of the dunes. The building can be classified as a modernist building.
