Medieval Castle of Franchimont

The castle of Franchimont, the medieval fortress well known by the residents of the Liège province, protected as exceptional Walloon heritage, invites you for a historical excursion.

Since 2003, Franchimont has gained even more dynamism and quality in its visits. The management of castle visits is now handled by the team of the Companions of Franchimont (Compagnons de Franchimont). This association is responsible for the maintenance and preservation of the castle.

The reception has also been taken over by the association, which has revitalized the visits and allows us to reach a broader audience in new infrastructure.
