The Abbey of Stavelot is a former abbey of Benedictine monks in the Belgian city of Stavelot. In the High Middle Ages, the abbey had a great reputation as a center of art and sciences. Only a few buildings remain of the once impressive monastery complex, in which three museums are now located: the historical museum of the Abbey Principality of Stavelot-Malmedy, the museum of the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, and the Guillaume Apollinaire museum.
