Bruparck is a family park on the outskirts of Brussels, located in the Heysel Plateau. Bruparck is situated next to the Atomium, the King Baudouin Stadium, and the Planetarium of the Royal Observatory. It accommodates 3.5 million visitors annually and consisted of: Océade and Mini-Europe were initially set to close at the end of 2016 to make way for the new project NEO on the Heysel. This is a project to build a large shopping center on the Heysel. At the end of 2016, the closure of Océade was postponed until at least October 2018. Mini-Europe will not close at all and may be integrated into NEO.
