The current Sint-Martinuskerk (from 1723) was once the monastery church of the Carthusian abbey Sint-Maarten-Bos, founded in 1329. The church contains a number of statues from the 17th century and church furniture from the 18th century. A number of 18th-century buildings remain of the Carthusian abbey, which was defunct in 1783.
