The St. Martin's Church is safely tucked away behind a sturdy cemetery wall and features an early Romanesque tower (12th century) and a slightly younger baptismal font (13th century). The nave of the church was constructed (rebuilt) in the first half of the 18th century. In the cemetery, you will find not only a beautiful collection of gray stone grave crosses from the 17th and 18th centuries but also the graves of Pastor Veltmans (1866-1954) and Canadian pilots who were shot down during World War II.
