In the meadows is the Diepensteyn Castle, rebuilt by the Palm brewery in 1995, and the associated stud farm. The brewery receives its guests at Diepensteyn Castle. Among them are the approximately 25,000 Flemish and Dutch people who come to visit the brewery every year during the numerous guided tours. The stud farm of Diepensteyn Castle is home to about twenty Brabant draught horses. The conditions in which these horses stay can safely be described as luxurious. The vast majority of horses in our country would be happy to move to the stud farm of Diepensteyn Castle. All facilities are available, up to and including a sunbed, to dry the horses quickly when they have enjoyed such a typical Flemish weather. The harness that the Diepensteyn horses had at their disposal would make most horses in Flanders go crazy. Simply magnificent. If you have the opportunity, you should make an appointment to visit this horse heaven-on-earth.
