Right in front of the church is the Bailiff's House, now a municipal cultural and meeting centre. The bailiff used to live here. He was the official who represented the lord in the countryside during the Ancien Régime. He was appointed for life and possessed powers in feudal, political, financial, military and judicial matters.
Via the Kammeersweg you can enter the paved courtyard. The building with the large garden and stables also acquired various functions over time, including a beer brewery. Note the beautiful gallery finished in natural stone.
