The St-Martinus chapel in Burght is classified. It is one of the most beautiful chamber chapels in Bever. Chamber chapels belonged to noble families. Before 1600 Burght was the main hamlet of Bever. The Motte Castle was also located there. In old writings there is mention of a house chapel, which was located a few meters from the 'castle' and was founded by Seger van Edingen, lord of Bergen, who stayed there from 1295 to 1310. it would be Louis Ferdinand Joseph de Croy, Duke of Havré and Lord of Beaver, who in 1760, after the decay of the castle and its chapel, had a new chapel built a few meters from the track in honor of the patron saint of the parish. When the de Croy family stayed in Bever, the priest had to say mass "ad libitum" (according to the wishes) of the de Croy family.
