The Bedstee of Emperor Charles consists of two beautiful, large quartzite blocks, near border post 722. There are three benches and an information panel. Legend has it that the emperor rested his weary head there for a while during a hunting party. This Lectus Caroli Magni is already mentioned in a text from 1205, concerning the borders of the priory of Reichenstein.
