Anzegem station is a railway station along line 89 in the municipality of Anzegem. It is now a stop.
On Friday, September 14, 2012, a serious accident occurred near Anzegem station. A Polish truck got stuck at the level crossing. A passenger train passing through towards Kortrijk crashed into the truck and dragged it several meters. The first carriage of the train derailed. The truck driver was able to bring himself to safety in time, but two people on the train were injured. The material damage was significant. Train traffic between Kortrijk and Oudenaarde was suspended for the rest of the day, and a replacement bus service was set up. During the night from Friday to Saturday, the train was towed away, but the level crossing remained closed until Sunday afternoon.
