The Bouillon Castle is a medieval fortress that belonged to Godfrey of Bouillon, who sold the castle to finance his participation in the First Crusade.
The fortress is one of the most mysterious in Belgium. It is very well preserved and appears very natural because you sometimes barely see the difference between the masonry and the walls hewn from the rocks. You certainly need about an hour to explore all the corridors, steep stairs, halls, towers, and caverns. In the summer, you can attend a falconry show.
