This very old estate was already mentioned in the year 1549 as the property Christoffels Stalle located behind the church with ramparts, ponds, forest and land. In 1937 the castle was rebuilt to a design by architect J. Hebbelynck, modelled on the former castle. The wagon house is from the third quarter of the 19th century and the garden pavilion from the early 20th century. Currently inhabited by its owner Mr. André Stubbe. The divided facades, the terrace surrounded by sandstone columns and the beautiful hovings recall the grandeur and splendor of earlier generations.
