The majestic St. Salvator Church, built in the 1770s, can safely be called unique: the architectural style, classicism, can not be found in many other churches in Belgium. During your visit, pay particular attention to the imposing façade, the majestic vaults, the high altar and the absolute showpiece: the wooden pulpit with invisible staircase.
In 2009, the interior was completely restored and the surroundings completely redesigned so that the church now shines like never before. Inside you will find a time window with which you can zap through the history of the building and of Harelbeke.
