At the edge of Flanders, in the beautiful Voer region, stand the two smallest monuments managed by Heritage Flanders. They are ideal for a quick stop during a bike or car ride.
The Sint-Anna Chapel is located in Sint-Pieters-Voeren at an idyllic crossroads in the fields and is too beautiful to pass by. Inside, there is a stunning stucco ceiling that dates back to the 17th century. Other embellishments were made in 1730. Currently, a thorough restoration is being prepared.
The chapel of Our Lady of Kinkenberg has already undergone that restoration. This baroque chapel is situated in the heart of ’s Gravenvoeren on the right bank of the Voer. In 1715, the religious building was erected on the south side of the triangular square of Kinkenberg by Henri Delvaux. It has become a small gem that is still worth taking a moment to appreciate.
