"In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst" is the only Café on the village square of Eizeringen. It is the place to go to taste lambic beers. This traditional Pajots Café has one of the most extensive geuze and cherry selections in the world. The walls not only tell a large part of the brewing history of the region, but also bear witness to the former village life in Eizeringen. Tourism Flanders and Vlaanderen Vakantieland went in search of the best Cafés in Flanders and Brussels. Kurt and Yves won the title of "best café owner" in 2009.
