About the artist
Lives and works in Vienna. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts there. Since 1970, he has been exhibiting continuously all over the world, including in the predecessor of the SMAC in Ghent in 1987, 1989, and 1995, at the Palace of Fine Arts in Brussels (1998), in Bruges (Galerie Bruges la Morte, 1990 and 1993), in Middelheim (1998), Hotel Empain in Brussels (1999), and several times at Documenta Kassel. He sculpts (or models) from abstract to figurative, and everything in between, using various materials, even papier-mâché. In addition to catalogs, a few hundred reviews of his work have been published.
