Le Grand-Hornu is an old industrial complex of coal mines that make up the old municipality of d'Hornu, located in the region of Borinage, about ten kilometers to the west of the center of Mons. This place is part of the most important heritage of WalloniÙ.
In Neoclassical style, it is today one of the finest architectural testimonies of the industrial era and includes one of the oldest working-class cities in the world.
