One of the main buildings of the Royal Technical Athenaeum of Vilvoorde comes from Expo 58. Due to the tubes that span across the building, the entire structure appears to be suspended. It is the former pavilion of Civil Engineering. At the world exhibition, the famous concrete arrow stood in front of this building. It was blown up in the 1970s to make way for Trade Mart.
