Kleem Chapel
This neo-Gothic chapel was built in 1874.
The legend behind this chapel:
The Claeys brothers found a statue of the Virgin Mary in a field. They took it home and later hung it in a tree in the Wulfshoekstraat. Afterwards, the statue was moved several times, but each time it inexplicably came back. Three attempts were made to place it in the church. But even there the statue did not want to stay, and it always returned to the Kleemhoek. So they decided to build a chapel for it on that spot...
