The late Romanesque church of Huise dates from the 12th-13th centuries and was extensively restored in 1903. The church is protected as a monument. The interior was decorated in neo- and pseudo-Romanesque style, but still contains an old 14th century interior door with stone frame. On the village square we also find the memorial stone on the birthplace of the tone poet Frans-August Gevaert.
