Description

The 9.7 hectare Provincial Domain Den Blakken is a promotion centre for floriculture, rose cultivation and park trees. At the beginning of 1900 a country estate with pleasure house was built, in 1931 a villa in Norman country house style and accompanying park. From the cozy terrace of this villa Les Mélèzes, now a tavern-restaurant, you have a beautiful view of the botanical garden around it. Den Blakken has been owned by the Province of East Flanders since 1993.
