Former birthplace of Dr. Ovide Decroly (see bronze plaque on fence pillar), now "Auberge Sint-Sebastien". According to map book of 1684 place of a circular walled motte called "sheeren mote", owned by the lords of Wattripont. At the end of the 19th century it was known as the property of the industrialist J.-B. Decroly. In the back house with front garden closed by iron fences, the later famous doctor-psychologist and pedagogue Ovide Decroly was born in 1871. In 1937, sale of the house and renovation in 1942 in villa style to a design by architect R. Cordier, since 1956 by brewery Rodenbach furnished as a café and room of the "Royal Antique Guild St.Sebastien" with overbuilt standing seesaw at the back.
