Description

The horn is an ancient instrument that used to be mainly used to transmit signals, especially in hunting. Different tones can be played with a traditional horn, but horns are not suitable for making real music. More modern versions of the horn, such as the French horn or the Viennese horn are much more sophisticated. This makes it possible to play all the notes on the stave with the help of valves. The opening of the hunting season in Saint-Hubert, the first weekend of September, is traditionally graced by numerous horn players from home and abroad.
