Here in Petite-Chapelle, you can find a limestone boundary marker. On one side, you see an inscription 'FRANCE'. On the other side 'LIEGE', referring to the Prince-Bishopric of Liège. A few hundred meters further stands a Dutch-French boundary marker, where N and F are inscribed, a reminder of the period 1815-1830 when Belgium still belonged to the Netherlands.
