Champlon is a village in the Belgian province of Luxembourg and a district of Tenneville. Until January 1, 1977, it was an independent municipality. Champlon is located two kilometers northwest of the center of Tenneville. The district also includes the village of Journal. At the end of the ancien régime, Champlon became a municipality. The place was also known as Champlon-en-Ardenne, in distinction from Champlon-Famenne, which lies about 15 kilometers northwest. The adjoining municipality of Journal was abolished in 1811 and merged with Champlon.
