Schelderode is a village in the Belgian province of East Flanders and a district of Merelbeke. In 2005, Schelderode had just under 1500 inhabitants and covered an area of 5.78 km².
The village is located about 10 kilometers south of Ghent and borders the Schelde River to the northwest. Schelderode also borders Bottelare, Munte, Melsen, Merelbeke, Baaigem, Gavere, Vurste, and Zevergem.
