It means more to her than just a place, as she describes in an interview with the Nieuwsblad: “When you land in Zaventem, the plane flies over Wijgmaal, my birthplace. And every time I saw the Remytoren from the air, an old factory tower that looms over that village, I thought: I am home. It always gave me a huge sense of peace. Very strange. I didn't know it was within me. And in a way, I also find it sad because I thought I was much more adventurous in that regard. Much more independent.”
