For Lier heritage during the interwar period, Bernard Janssens (1887-1976) is an important - but little-known - figure. As a collector, anthropologist, photographer, and restorer, he shifted the boundaries. Janssens published, copied, restored, and photographed. We showcase his views on copying and restoring.
