exhibition: Ready-made lace
The Municipal Heritage Museum has a beautiful lace collection. Hand-tatted Beverse lace is famous for its fineness and unique patterns, such as those with flowers. Lace has many traditional applications, for example in bonnets or baptismal gowns. Today, the interpretations and manufacturing possibilities are endless. Here no fake, but ‘the real stuff’. Or perhaps not?
