At Huys De Cocker, a demonstration of dowsing rods was organized on Heritage Day 2010. The theme of Heritage Day 2010 was "Fake". The question was whether this "folk technique" of using dowsing rods was real or false. And the audience could try it for themselves. As a scientist, I wanted to quickly demonstrate what kind of nonsense this was. And to my surprise,... That thing moved at the marked spot. Even more so. I also tried it with another version of a dowsing rod (one with two copper rods) and that worked even better. I still suspect that some heavy radiation source was placed in the cellar of Huys De Cocker... (a surprised scientist)
